Crucifixion Type Love

As you already know, I enjoy poetry; but what you do not know is that I especially enjoy listening to spoken word. While browsing some videos over the weekend, I stumbled upon this presentation, which affected me in a profound way. You see, I will be marrying my fiancée in 96 days - and this video really caused me to check my motives and actions in the way I display love to her. As this poet recited his piece about sacrificial love within marriage, I felt both convicted and encouraged (and was ultimately brought to a state of teary eyes, for both joy and guilt). But this video is not just applicable to married persons; it carries meaning in the life of ever believer - as we are all called to this:

Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
John 13:34b-35
